We are pleased to announce our Spotlight Sunday Author, A.L Vincent!

My name is Alisha Vincent. I write under the pen name A.L. Vincent I am a teacher/writer who lives in the heart of Cajun Country. Born in Oklahoma, I became fascinated with South Louisiana after reading Interview With the Vampire. Finally, I became a Cajun transplant in 2001. When not getting lost in a story line, I can be found cooking or enjoying live local music. I have one son, and a furball of a dog aptly named Furby. My first novel, Tangled up in You was published by Limitless Publishing in October of last year

Let’s get down to the nitty gritty shall we?

TBBB: Where are you from?

AL: I’m originally from Oklahoma. I live in Lafayette, LA now, and love Cajun Country.

TBBB: If you had to perform in a talent competition right now, what would your talent be?

AL: Musical trivia. My head is full of useless facts.

TBBB: What’s your favorite movie quote? (Make sure to include the name of the movie)

AL: “It can’t rain all the time.” –The Crow

TBBB: Tell us a fun fact about yourself that would surprise your readers.

AL: Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love to dress up and decorate, and all of that. But, I am terrified of scary movies and will not watch them.

TBBB: Okay, back to books, what genres do you write?

AL: Contemporary Romance

TBBB: What is your inspiration?

AL:Music, and the real life people and situations I see around me.

TBBB: Tell us about your latest book?

AL: My latest book, Catch and Release, is a Christmas novella that comes out November 22nd. It’s a book written by one of my character’s points of view and it is about her hunt to find the perfect man by Christmas. Trouble is, Carly doesn’t have the best luck when it comes to dating, so she has some interesting and funny stories to tell.
